“At first we got hassled and tried to upsell us on the VIP package, but honestly, we did the same amount of things with the basic package. Our tour guide Moto Moto was amazing and made the experience fun! The Centote was one the coolest things and the fish tacos were amazing! The tequila tasting teacher was super funny and knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend!”

You’ll ride a Can-Am Outlander through Puerto Morelos forest, swim in an open-air cenote, and stop for Mexican snacks in town. Guides such as Arely and Carlos help less experienced riders, while children can ride as passengers. Phones stay locked away, so plan to buy the optional photo package if you want pictures.

“The ATV ride was fun and the cenote was beautiful. I’m disappointed that they don’t let you bring your phone on the ATV or take any of your own videos of the cenote. We purchased all the photos and videos that their photographer takes but they’re all blurry. My iPhone would have done better so it’s disappointing for the price of everything that they don’t let you use your phone. We come all this way and leave tips to everyone and can’t get any photos for memories.”

Our guide was Edgar, he made the experience so much more enjoyable. I will say, from past reviews too, they do try to get you to upgrade and pay for extras often but there’s no need for upgrades/paying for anything, so i’d recommend to just stick with your basic booking. ★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 590 reviews · 5 hours (approx.) · from $76

Spend about five hours moving between a short horseback ride, ATV trails, ziplines, and a freshwater Mayan cenote near Cancun. Hotel transfers, safety gear, guides, snacks, tequila tasting, and a small meal are included. The tour suits first-timers and families, though the pace can feel rushed and phone use is not allowed during activities.

“Expect to be harassed for tips. Each step along the way the drivers and guides hit you up for tips (one even had a sign "Give tips: God is watching you"): it adds up when there are six bus rides and multiple guides. Also, they demand you put away your phone/camera-- and then want to charge you $69 for their photo package at the end (more if you have three people+). Also, zip line is not that long and the horse ride was around a field. Felt more like a tourist trap. (The ATVs were fun).”

Cancún: ATV, Zipline, and Cenote Adventure with Lunch

11.Cancún: ATV, Zipline, and Cenote Adventure with Lunch

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 55 reviews · 1 - 5 hours · from $23Best value

You’ll ride an ATV on jungle trails, fly through a zipline circuit, swim in an artificial Mayan cenote, and eat lunch before returning to your hotel. English and Spanish guides lead the activity, with Tony, Danny, and David praised for their friendly help. Bring closed shoes, swimwear, and a change of clothes.

“The activity was fun but like other reviews said there are hidden costs. We booked for 7 and were only given 3 ATVs with the 7th person needing to ride on the back of the guide’s and not able to drive. Of course there was an option of an extra ATV at $35USD extra cost. They don’t say in the listing that you need glasses to drive the ATV and push you to buy things you don’t need like sunglasses, special shoes and scarfs. You don’t need this and are fine with normal sunglasses. Then the “lunch” that was included is 2 basic and small tacos with the only option…”

“I can’t recommend this enough! The guides were the best part—so energetic and encouraging. I was hesitant to jump into the cenote, but they reassured me and even showed me the best way to do it. Their excitement was contagious, and they really made the trip unforgettable.”
